Conseil national de recherches Canada
The National Research Council Canada (NRCC) [Conseil national de recherches Canada (CNRC)], active since 1916, is the Government of Canada’s premier organization for research and development. The NRCC is composed of over 20 institutes and national programs, spanning a wide variety of disciplines and offering a broad array of services. NRCC institutes and programs are organized into five (5) key areas: Life Sciences, Physical Sciences, Engineering, Technology and Industry Support and Corporate Services.
The NRCC-CNRC has been producing a wide variety of publications since at least 1947. Their involvement in the realm of fire protection, life safety and combustion science is extensive. Because of the desire of industry to access many of their publications, the NRCC-CNRC has converted a large portion of its library to electronic versions.
